Ken, I've got a relatively mild 268H (hydraulic) COMP cam in my 396/325 and it doesn't make any noise. Does it seem to "click" on both sides or is it localized? Could just need adjustment. The previous owner *should* know what type of cam he put in. Dale > This 396/325 engine (1967 SS) has a competition cam > placed in it.
