joe, seems to me the por 15 has many exacting steps that you must follow to a t-- and if you don't they will tell you thats why it failed, it seems more expensive to me too. i was going to try it, and wound up spending alot of extra money, oh, you have to wash with the metal ready and the marine clean first i was told, as far as holding up better, i don't know, i never tested each one separately under a stress test. i tried the por 15 on some washers for lug nuts and it peeled off right away, and the minute i opened the jar it got hard on me after a short time. i also painted the bottom of one of my cars with their chassis black and after it dried i put a jack stand under the car and it wound up sticking to the jack stand. maybe its me but this urethane method is the one i prefer, seems like painting over rust is asking for trouble, maybe it loks it out from outside, but whats happening underneath??? ----------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
