2) Are you sure the numbers are right?
I Found a #3998993....72-73...307/350......75cc chambers maybe the #3998093 is wrong?
3) i found a #33417369 33417369...90-up...350..........Gen.I Goodwrench crate motor,"Hecho en Mexico", 76cc
maybe the #98417369 isn't right
4) I don't think the heads are the same.
5) If he has the 327 heads off why not have them redone? If he is just putting later model heads on cuz they newer it ain't worth it. Does he really know what shape they are in?
6) I'd stick with the 327 heads
