agree with Larry whole heartedly(# mix-up is very common due ta casting flaws)(and if the 327 heads are off, have them rebulit with hardened seats and no more additive worrys+better performance)

4) I don't think the heads are the same.
5) If he has the 327 heads off why not have them redone? If he is just putting later model heads on cuz they newer it ain't worth it. Does he really know what shape they are in?
6) I'd stick with the 327 heads
