Yes -- after you've put everything back together and had the engine running, re-check all the intake bolts after a few days. They do tend to loosen up initially.

This is the car that as it turned out had a carb on it that was shown to be for a 1972 chevy 350 pickup! Anyway, I want to replace the intake manifold gasket at the same time but have never done so. I have the service manual and it shows the torque sequence and the torque at 30 ft pounds. Any tips or suggestions on this gasket replacement? -- Jeff Fischer Lake Elmo, MN '71 Chevelle SS, 454, 4 spd http://home.attbi.com/~addss/chevelle.html ----------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
