to just replace the wiper switch it seems like a lot of work .just checked in the service manual they say the gymnastics way.

if you drop the dash you will have easy access to the back of the switch disconnect electrical connection replace switch replace dash.i would recommend loosening the nut in front of switch before dropping dash .
