We had my mom's Jaguar sandblasted and it cost us $700. I called to have my 69 Chevelle blasted and they wanted $1100. That was on a rotisserie lift also. Too much in my opinion so I sanded the whole car down myself with 80 grit and a DA sander. I used sand to blast a few of the parts like the doors, hood, trunk lid, and under side of the fenders. Sand will work, but it will blow holes through the sheetmetal if the pressure is too high. Glass bead or baking soda is the best to use from what I heard. You can rent a commercial blaster for about $150 for the day and get the job done in a few hours. This is what I plan to do with my 69 Charger.
