I brought all my lose parts that I can carry like hood, fenders, trunk lid, rad support, inner fenders, to a shop. He has a huge room where he blasts somthing that looks like baking soda. He said it's a his own special mix. He wears a full spaceman suit when he is in there blasting. The cost was $500.00 and well worth it in my opinion. The parts came back 100 per cent bare metal and no damage. I was going to bring the body shell to him but with new quarters on and car has vinyl roof so was not that much to blast compared to a lot of work to bring the body to him. I should have planned better and gave him the whole body. I did some of my own blasting with sand but will not do that again. They say the sand silica is very bad for your lungs.
