Me thinks your book is incorrect there Sarge. There is no 13837 model for 1969; that's why there's no 13867 for a convertible. The only 138xx models in 1969 were the two Concours wagons. The 1966 and 1967 SS396 sport coupe (hardtop) had a unique, two-year only model of 13817, other 138 SS sport coupes were 13837. The 13880 for the SS El Camino is a fairy tale as well, 1968 was the ONLY year to use that model number.
Just for grins, there are no 13446 model Greenbrier, 4-door wagon, 3-seat 6-cyls either; 13446 V8 yes, 13446 no. There are also no 13546 (6 cyl) Malibu Concours wagons either.
