After looking some more I found that same chart in CHEVROLET BY THE NUMBERS by Alan L.Colvin.It shows that number for 1968 Chevelles. In 1969 the number was 13637 for 2 door coupe with SS 396 being an option. 1969 and up could not be identified by the VIN. do you have a print date on that book? I'm wondering if it was printed before they changed the way they identified them?
