I guess maybe the best question to start in these
situations is to ask, How much money can you afford? I
did the Mosser 12 bolt thing. Got the differential and
spline count I wanted with late model Chevrolet
flanges. I think the old style brake kits, if this is
a consideration at the moment, are cheaper than a
junkyard or new 93-up rear disc setup. But really,
it's all about your fundage, as it were.
