Thanks for the response.. Your name is naturally all over the "Sanderson"
search.. What size do you recommend on the intermediate.. considering the
383 in the future.. looking at the CC1-5/8.

I used Sanderson QP-1000 cast iron headers on the 350 TPI motor in my 40
Ford streetrod. They looked good but I wasn't impressed with their sealing
at the head. If I remember correctly,they don't utilize all the bolt holes.
And yes,they are very pricey.
Just a suggestion but I would take a look at Sanderson's intermediate
headers. I installed a pair of them on my 68 El Camino with BBC & 700R4 and
was very impressed with their quality,fit,and more importantly their ground
clearance. The collectors end right about the bottom of the firewall and use
an oem-style ball & socket hookup. I'm planning a 385" or 415" SBC in the
near future and will be buying a pair for my 69 El Camino.
