The main problem is that it is on a shelf. I don't
think any water container would be safe on a shelf. Try the floor.

That happens at my house too...only Ginger is the
cat doing the licking!
Speaking of Ginger my cat, she's been sneaking
into my office during the day (well, jumping over the baby gate) and
knocking around the puppy's water bowl. It's on the bottom shelf of
my desk (which sits...only about an inch? above the ground) and she pulls
it/knocks it onto the floor...so usually I get home and it's either on the
floor with water still in it...but water all over the floor. Or,
it's perched on the edge, with the top part on the shelf, the bottom on
the floor (and water everywhere).
I've got water in a heavy ceramic
bowl. Does anyone know of anything that she won't be able to
tip?
