I bought her from a breeder that is like 2 hours from here and I'm not even sure what vet she used.
 I don't really care as long as it doesn't bother her which it doesn't that i know of she never licks it or anything?    My opinion would be if it doesn't bother her and it doesn't bother you just leave it be. =)  My lovely Sophie has both her front dews.  Lots and lots of toy breeders don't even remove  the front dew claws.  Dew claws are more a problem in the working breed dogs.  Hunting dogs could easily snag and rip a dew claw working a field, etc.  Some people feel a toy dog could snag a dew claw on say shag carpeting, but I don't think many people have that in their homes anymore.  If the dew is kinda floppy, one may want to have it removed.  If it were to become a nuisance, you could have it removed when she is spayed or had any surgery
 or a dental. I say what the heck, though. =)     katie     Cindy
