chihuahua are fun little dogs. And they do like to bark all the time and are fairly noisey. chihuahuas have a bad temper and don't like other dogs and people in general. they run up vet bills like a champ and usually take a year+ to house train. You can't leave them out in the yard if its under 40 and forget about leaving them out at night they bark all night. You have to walk them 3 times per week and they require constant attention. If you going to get a new chihuahu get a big sturdy one not a tea cup. Since they are very hard headed be ready to put up with lots of crap for the first year. they do settle down after 2 years but still bark at everything and shake. Also they will be on your furniture, they don't stay on the floor. so be ready.
