Chili doesn't have a problem holding it.
She had to stay home the day of my Grandmother's funeral last month and
she held it for
14 hrs. We have a dog door, but she refuses to believe it is for her use
too.
She watches my other two dogs go in and out all day. (She used a dog
door at the Shelter before I got her)
Anyhow, when we got home, she came to say hi and then went back to her
bed.
I had to go and get her to take her out. I think she definitely could
have held it longer.
I did feel bad leaving her for that long, but had no choice.
I had a Pomeranian years ago and she held it once for 20 hrs. We were
staying at a hotel and she just didn't feel comfortable enough to pee
when I walked her. I think because she wasn't sure of her surroundings.
After we checked out in the morning she finally found a spot suitible for
her. lol
