I'm with you Furdion, Rein sleeps with my husband and me too. I started
letting her sleep with us after she was spayed because I wanted to keep her
from licking her stitches. Now, it's just natural and expected by all of us!

I may stand alone here, but I see nothing wrong with sleeping with my
dogs, no matter what the size. I have always done it and will continue
to do so. No matter what those professional dog people say.
When they are tiny they need the warmth and protection of their
surrogate mum, as they miss the warmth and comfort of their mum,
brothers and sisters. Later as they grow older I find that it is I who
feels safe and nurtured as they vie for the best place next to me. In
winter they snuggle close and in summer they splay out on top of the
covers.
I realise I am not being politically correct but if I want to end up
on a 1/4 of the bed that is my affair. Even when I was married I
shared my bed with my beloved and now I am alone I do have a Queen
sized bed so I feel that I have plenty of space for 2 tiny Chis and me
and maybe the odd cat or 2.lol. Blessings Furdion
