I have had 2 puppies who had this in the past. My Pom had a small spot
around his eye. The vet gave me some stuff to rub on it. It's yellow and it took care of it. Then I have another puppy later and the vet put him on ivermectin for 30 days. You don't want to do the ivermectin unless the other stuff don't work. Some dogs can get side effects. It never seemed to bother my dog. My sister's min pin had to have dips, but the stuff they dip the dog in is real strong poison so best avoided if you can. Betty
