When my youngest chi had her shots, about 3 hours later she would screech like if someone was killing her. She could hardly move. The vet told me to give her pediatric benedryl and that seemed to help her although she was in pain for 2 days. It really broke my heart to see her like this. I just kept her comfortable until she got over it.

The she started shaking and when I tried to pick her up or move her if she was sitting with me she SCREECHED!! I called the vet and they said that it is sometimes normal for a small puppy to act this way. I have no idea because my other dog was a lot larger than her and didn't have this problem. I guess I am so worried because a friend almost lost her dog from anaphalactic shock after a shot. She stopped breathing, very faint heartbeat... that's why I am soooo paranoid!!
