Lisa, I don't know what has been said through private emails, etc. My
comments are strictly on how this has been presented here. Your ad
page and this thread do not reflect a desire to find the best home you
can for this dog. They reflect a desire to make money.

The amount of money a person is able/willing to pay for an animal is
not an accurate reflection of the care that animal will recieve. Many
pets are wonderfully loved and cared for by those with less money. And
there are those who bc they spent a fortune on a purebred dog that
expect the dog to be 'better' than a regular dog. (ie potty train
easier, not chew stuff, etc)

The only way to ensure an owner who will properly care for the pet is
to ask questions about their home and family and approach to pet care.
Along with sharing details about the animal so that everyone can make
an informed decision about what is right for this dog.

No one is suggesting that you just give the dog away. I'm not even
suggesting that the amount of money you are asking is unfair. I don't
know if it's reasonable or not. I am suggesting that the focus of this
thread should be more about Chip and his future and less about setting
his price and finding someone willing to pay more.

I wish you and chip all the best in finding him a wonderful home. He's
a beautiful dog and certainly deserves it.
