The thread about "breeding for money" is like talking about "what is a puppymill" there is not exactly one single answer. Breeding for money is somebody that has 400 dogs stacked in cages behind their house, they call them a crop like corn or wheat and make their living off the sale of dogs. If a person has 20 dogs and breeds 4 or 5 litters a year and makes money to feed those dogs and pay vet bills and maybe a little extra on the side, that's not breeding for money. So we need to look at it realistically. If nobody breeds there won't be any dogs in another few years. If everybody who wants to breed a litter ever so often breeds and sells those puppies at reasonable price to a good home, it makes for a better life for everybody because we know having pets make for a happier life. No 2 people can agree on who should breed so it's like politics, agree to disagree or come to the conclusion that there is no conclusion. Jeannine
