Very well said. I would have considered a mix but found that chi mixes don't look much like chis. LOL I feel it is important to maintain breeds through responsible breeding. And I think it's reasonable to expect to make a profit for a your time and efforts.

It is very rare for a serious and ethical breeder to make a profit. Sure, they may come out ahead on one litter, but then loose their shirt on the next.
