Not all l/c's will blow their puppy coat. And some will blow so much they look
naked, while others barely show at all. I don't know what it is like in other
breeds....I just know chis :-)

So now...I'm curious. Are all long-hairs susceptible to this? My
long haired chi never lost any hair. She is 11 months old and has a
beautiful, silky coat. Might she still lose it all? She was in
season last month so I consider her "adult" as far as that goes...

I was just wondering. Everybody talks about this but we just didn't
  experience it.

three months, he will be six months old (towards the end of this
month) and it still hasn't grown back (although you can tell its
starting to grow/sprout). Anyone know how long it takes? I am
anxious to see what he's going to look like!
