when i got my jimmy from the pound he was a full grown dog. i think he was raised in a cage. It took a long while for him to warm up. we went slow and easy. he turned into a love bug. we have had him about four years now. He has finally started to enjoy being hugged. he always twisted away. he love kisses, pets, belly rubs, playing a little, being close to us. loves the way to go. she will come around. arlene
