I may have forgotten to mention that one time a whiel back ,she got out and ran across the street to this neighbors house. He was FURIOUS,he came storming back, with her following behind him,barking..yelling at me..he threatend that something would happen to her if he found her in his yard again. I don't beleive he murdered her. I found her one house over from his,(in the road, with a side injury)It looked like she got hit by a car, I don't beleive it was that man, but people can be so cruel. I am thinking about getting another one. But we will have to be extra careful to prevent things like this. I will be afraid of it happening again. I have two cats I've had for 4yrs. They stay outside(sugar was an INSIDE dog),and never had any problems, It just never accured to me this would happen to ME,or MY dog....
