I have had 2 puppies that had this. Scrappy my Pom had it around his eye. The vet gave me goodwinol ointment to put on the area. It worked and so far Scrappy has been fine. The vet said it can come back under stress or sickness. The other puppy I had that had this the goodwinol ointment didn't help and it was getting in several areas on the puppy. The vet gave him ivermectin. That may be spelled wrong. He had to take it for 30 days. Some dogs can had bad reactions to it but it didn't seem to hurt him and he got better. Betty
