My Chihuahua had Demodectoc Mange, and my Vet informed me that all puppies are susceptible to this from their mothers. It is not a hereditary thing, it is a parasite and it happens at random and is due to a weakened immune system which means it could happen to the best of the breeders at any point in time. The cure for my little one was using the heart worm medication Ivermectin in liquid form a few times a day for a month or so as prescribed by my Vet (if I am remembering correctly) and she has been cleared of it ever since. She is almost a year old now and she has a soft, shiny, healthy coat. Melanie B. Portage, MI --- In [email protected], "Emi-Mail" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > She is under our vets supervision .
