Cesar was not very old the first time I had to leave him. In his 10 months
of life, I have left him 3 times with a sitter and he has done just fine.
Just leave all the instructions written:
the number of meals, amount of food, how prepared, served at what time,
change water twice a day, clean area, how many times to take him out side to do

his business, at approximately what time, vet information, any special
instructions for play, for daily care, telephone numbers of vet, family member
or
friend to be notified in case of emergency and anything else he is used to
doing on a daily basis, yes, even getting kisses (my sister said she gave Cesar

lots of kisses. I think leaving them goes a long way in better socializing
them and avoiding separation anxiety. Besides, they are sooo happy when you
return!
