Speaking of vets, you know, my vet takes dogs in if the owner has to
be away. Of course, there's a fee but it's pretty minimal compared
to dog hotels I can imagine. Though there are no dog hotels here
yet. It's not the nicest place to be especially if your dog hates
being at the vet but then there's a sense of peace of mind knowing
that in case of a medical emergency, the dog is already there. And
of course, the vet and her staff knows the pup.

I called my vet to find out his weekend whereabouts and let him
know the story. I also mapquested the emergency clinic and printed
that and told her to walk in and get me for whatever reason.
(luckily its close by, i may sneak home at night ot see if he's ok)
A religious retreat is good for my soul but anything happening to
my baby is way more important...blessings for the new year!
