My Cesar is 10 months old and at 11 weeks, he trained to a litter box, which he still uses when he is indoors but he will also go outside when I put him out at the correct time. I never tried the crate training, instead I used a fenced in area (I call it a corral). I still put him in the corral when I am going to be gone, he has the run of the den (and only the den) when I am home. Sometimes, he might miss the mark a little when he's using the litter box but he has never pooped or peed anywhere else in the house/den. Gloria
