Chis have smaller bladders and they need to go more often than bigger
dogs. The older they get, the longer they can hold it but I'm not
exactly sure for how long.
My dog, at 8 months, was able to hold it for about 4 hours when we
went to the vet and ran some errands. He went a lot and immediately
when we got home. But when we are home, he seems to go at least
every 2 hours, little by little though so I guess he knows that there
is no need to hold it since it's always accessible at home.
