Holy cow! How many pups are in that litter? Looks like about 7 in the picture. What a beautiful set of babies.
And thanks for the additional info on the merles. Its too bad about the AKC then. They'll be missing out on a lovely color. And I agree with you, health problems can arise from irresponsible breeding regardless of the color.
