I am teaching our Chi's to walk on the treadmill...since Winter is coming up
walks outside will be nuts!! They don't like the rain, especially the one
along with
high winds...lololGloria C "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the
LORD, "plans to give you hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11

im amazed that other chi. can eat what we call 'people food" my dogs cant eat
it and when i gave my grandpuppies away i recommended they not feed them
"people food" because of mom and dad. they throw it back up but it never gets
digested it comes out looking like poo and if you didnt watch them bring it
back up you would have thought it was.....doesnt matter what it is they eat of
"people food"

Rose, first a dry food is much better for them over all than a canned foodis.
Definitely cut back on the table scraps, lol. As far as chicken,ect....a lot of
people have good success on a the raw or barf diet. But, the best idea I have
come accross for weight management.. .and thiswas told to me by the vet when we
took mom's Chiffon in to do somethingabout her overweight.. .....is green
beans. We were told to cut back on herdog food, but allow her all the green
beans she wanted. Green beans haveno calories or anything..are mostly
water...so they fill them up and makethem feel not hungry. Just make sure the
cans are plain green beans inwater with no additives... ..Marsha> My doggie
