Mare, I totally agree with Elizabeth and Venus. File a police report, get the
witness
information, driver description. Technically in CA - dogs are property and it
is a "hit and run"!

However, if the driver didn't know, it's hard press to prove what happen.
There is a leash law in CA
and if my dogs are off my property line, it's on the owner.

I am so sorry Mare!! I grieve with you. I have had 2 dogs in my life that met
this type of fate.
It's not anything we ever want to experience. I pray for you and your family's
comfort at this time! ~ Gloria C ~ Guide me in your truth and teach
me,for you are God my Savior, and my hopeis in you all day long.

Mare,I am sooo sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you in this time
ofneed. There are three things you need to do. First off I do agree 1000%you
need to call the police. Also as hard as it may be take photos, lotsand lots of
photos. You will also need to contact the company. Dependingon what state you
live in the leash law does not always apply to yourown property. Also no matter
what, the delivery is guilty of animal cruelty.Hugs,Venuse holley wrote:>> Oh
