the 8 to 12 weeks is pretty much my exact argumant here as well....most of mine are resdy to go at 8 weeks....some I keep longer due to size or any type of health concern....One of mine always has realy small pups and I don't even consider letting them go before 10 weeks....often it is on a case by case basis....but the 8 to 12 weeks is the perfect time....Yes, there seems toi be some consensus here that even 12 weeks is too early....My personal belief is that before 8 weeks is too young and after 12 weeks leads to a whole new set of attachment issues....
