At my age, I know Emiliano and Beau my parrot, will both outlive me, so I have made provisions for them both in my will. I would love another puppy, a canary, and a budgie, but I know that if I were to get them, I would be committing my family to more than they have expressed a willingness to do and I wouldn't want those animals to end up in a kill shelter or even a rescue center. My mom has six chihuahuas and wants to adopt a new baby chi. She's healthy and takes care of them all well. Is seven chihuahuas too many. You tell me please.
