I don't necessarily think thats true Darcy... I know so many "dog owners" that
just have one...and he/she gets stuck out in the backyard with not much thought
or interaction! I also know myself and many like me that have multiple dogs.
They get the best of everything including our time and love. I spend every
minute of everyday and night with my pack...where I go they go except places
they can't. They get the best food, the best toys, the best treats. Everyone
works with me daily with their training. Everyone gets groomed weekly,
brushed/combed daily. They all have their own beds all over my house, their own
special blankets and their own wardrobes. I am excessive but there are MANY
like
me and it wouldn't matter how many they had...they would be cared for and loved
on the same level. What makes each one of us know our limits is when we know
ourselves well enough to know what we are capable of and what we enjoy doing.
If
you don't like bathing, grooming, picking up poop, training, walking, playing,
cooking, washing, sweeping, rocking, petting, loving...then you shouldn't have
even one dog! JMO!!Hugs In Him,
Deanna

very well said gloria!! ... and the more you have to care for the LESS each one
gets ... tell her she can only share (split) so many hours in a day so many
ways
...its NOT fair to the 6 to take any more time from them...
