When I got Spice, I figured that since she was doing "doubletime" with those little bitty legs, , our usual 2 mile or more walks were a bit much for her. I've since discovered that a mile is about her limit. I would "listen" to the dog and do it in phases :)

Still, wish he could join us more often. We talked during the day and Pecos was his usual self. No signs of swelling or discomfort in his joints or pads. When I got home and started to get the dogs' walking accoutrements together, Pecos began dancing in circles so took that as a signal to bring him out with Mixer and I again.
