There actually is some indication that many moons ago, chis and poms were cross bred to give us the current long coat chi, and also the current short nose...as the original chis, way back in the day, lol, was more like the "deer" chi today than the cobbly short nosed things we have come to accept as modern standard......so there is some ancient validity to the pom referance.....
