[Chihuahuas] Travel question

Hi, So when you go into a restaurant to eat, you leave Frida in a crate in the car? What would I do when I take a vacation during the summer and it's too hot to leave him in the car? I can't leave him in the hotel, because I'll be driving for several days to my destination. I'm even worried about taking him out more now because I might need to run into a shop. Any suggestions other than sneaking him in in my large purse:) I live in San Diego From: Rylee O'Neill <ryleeone...@gmail.com> To: Chihuahuas@yahoogroups.com Sent: Mon, October 25, 2010 7:41:44 PM Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Here is another question ...sorry!   I love vacationing with Frida.  My big tip would be to buy a sling or bag to carry the chi around.  Also, we take a small kennel if you have to contain while you are out.  Lots of treats are a must.  Love my flexi leash for walking at the rest stops.  I also pre-measure food and put it in plastic bags for easy eating.  Frida loves going for trips.  It is wonderful for all of us.  I have a car seat for trips also.
