I just want to say that ialmost always take ALL three chi's with me.. If I leave them home then my sister comes to my home and stays with them .. It is better than them going to her home cuz as much as they love her they do better in familiar surroundings when I am not home..
They go camping with me several times a year also. And yes it would be easier going with out them but hey they are my kids.. I will probably leave them with my sister twice this upcoming year.. Once for a convention where they really would not be happy that is happening this winter.. And once when hubby and I will be riding the motorcycle out west for a kids free weekend.. Lol.. We still need them from time to time. When we were in Denver vacationing I left her in the hotel room for several hours (like when I'm at work). We take her around town and take her into shops that don't have food. I leave her home if I have to go to a eatery. We eat at fast food and I sit outside with her on travel days. It's not as easy. Also, it helps Frida is a 4 lb chi. I carry her around.
