Never ever leave your baby in the car, they can die from the heat or cold or
someone can break the window and take her. I put Abbey in a purse that is made
for a dog and she wears her service dog sash. Never had any problems at all and
she knows how to act in a restaurant. She is very well behaved. Nancy

Hi,
So when you go into a restaurant to eat, you leave Frida in a crate in the car?
What would I do when I take a vacation during the summer and it's too hot to
leave him in the car? I can't leave him in the hotel, because I'll be driving
for several days to my destination. I'm even worried about taking him out more
now because I might need to run into a shop. Any suggestions other than
sneaking him in in my large purse:)
I live in San Diego

I love vacationing with Frida.  My big tip would be to buy a sling or bag to
carry the chi around.  Also, we take a small kennel if you have to contain
while you are out.  Lots of treats are a must.  Love my flexi leash for walking
at the rest stops.  I also pre-measure food and put it in plastic bags for easy
eating.  Frida loves going for trips.  It is wonderful for all of us.  I have a
car seat for trips also.
