San deigo is such a dog friendly place, I was there in April and wish I had sweetie when I was there cause there were dogs everywhere and you seemed to beable to tale them just about anywhere... And when eat most places will let you bring them in if they have outside seating

I love vacationing with Frida. My big tip would be to buy a sling or bag to carry the chi around. Also, we take a small kennel if you have to contain while you are out. Lots of treats are a must. Love my flexi leash for walking at the rest stops. I also pre-measure food and put it in plastic bags for easy eating. Frida loves going for trips. It is wonderful for all of us.
