Your right Gloria, a lot of Vets don't tell you that. I found that out after
I had my girls done to. It is best to wait 2-3 months after a heat, so that
their system can balance itself out again. They will still go through some
changes, as the spaying does deplete the hormones, but not as severely. This
is another reason why good Vets are against spaying 3-6 month old puppies.
They should go through 1-2 heat cycles, wait 2 to 3 months and then get
spayed. That also prevents spay-incontinence.  A lot of the Vets here are
now advocating that.

If the fact that she was in heat just a month ago has impacted her reaction
to being spayed, the Society and vets are doing a dis-service by not telling
people to wait if their female has had a recent heat.  I am so sorry that
little one is having to go through this and you too.  Sending healing glows.
