What is your opinion of a male dog being closer to a female owner versus a female dog being closer to a female owner? My friend is in search of a chihuaua but is adamant that only male dogs will bond with female owners. I disagree because Jill is closer to me than my husband. Reggie's dog is a male, and they are best buddies. I promised her that I would ask the group and poll the opinions. I thinik she's way off base but am anxiously awaiting your responses.
