Hello all. I too my dog to the Vet this morning to get her spaid.. She died shortly ater the surgery.. Two things. I didn’t know how old she was so I guessed at her age as she was a rescue. The other thing, since I heard that you couldn’t spay your dog if they reach beyond the age of 5 years old. I wished they have told me that before the surgery. \ Someone please, help me here as I asked the doctor about this age thing and she said, since she was thealthy, there was no problem Details of the surgery. She went through the surgery, shortly after s he was coming out the surgery, she started turning blue, they started giving her oxygen, and cathter iv meds.. Her heart just stopped. If anyone in the Southern California area know of the Pico Rivera Clinic Called Clinico, please, let me know if you have heard of it.. When I spoke to the County of LA Spay Nutor program, that was the same information I gotten about how old she should be.. I and my boyfriend arand been crrying all day since I broke the news to him.. I want to eat but, can’since my stomach is all messed up.. Thanks for listening and all your help.. I just don’t know how to goon since I had her over a year now and she was a wonderful dog to me..
