Actually, Createspace (also run by Amazon) is Print on Demand, so there’s virtually no up front financial outlay from me to get print copies made.
That’s the direction I’m looking, after I find out how well it’s received in ebook form. But ya, getting rid of the middleman as much as possible is my goal. This kind of stuff scares the crap out of brick and mortar publishing houses and the agents who are no longer necessary to getting your foot in the door in the first place. Poor them.
