My data book says its parameters are: NPN Ic = 1.5A hFE = 8 min @ 1A Pd = 20 W @25C
There is nothing remarkable about this transistor except its TO-126 case. Is there room enough to put in something larger like a TO-202 or TO220? If so there are probably hundreds of subs. There was a TO-220 (TIP???) version of the 2N3054 (TO-66) that should work.
