CUPS doesn't handle windows print share directly, it uses Samba,
typically it requires a link of /usr/lib/cups/backend/smb to
/usr/sfw/bin/smbspool. On Linux, this is done out of the box since CUPS
is the only print system there. Our version of Samba is a bit dated,
3.0.x whereas the stable version of Samba from most Linux is 3.2.x. But
this is hard acts for us to get uprev as it is now relicensed to GPL V3.
