Ok, whatever. I'm not thinking about this at the protocol level, I'm thinking about this at the user interface level. I have no idea what protocol level features the existing user interfaces are using, all I know is that I never have to supply a password and I generally don't have to tell it to connect as guest (possibly the first time, but it happens so rarely I don't remember). So, if share-level access is what I want, is *that* supported by the kernel cifs support in a way that I can get the effect I want? _______________________________________________ cifs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-discuss
